The 990 EVO Plus covers the mainstream performance tier with up to 7,250 MB/s sequential reads from a DRAM-less HMB design. Its interface operates as either PCIe 4.0 x4 or PCIe 5.0 x2, an unusual flexibility that suits lane-constrained notebooks and next-generation platforms alike.
