Quality

Information sharing in the global community to optimise supply chain security, quality, and technology.

The AInspireX team maintains quality throughout the organisation. Our quality program includes distributor affiliations that adhere to government and industry-association best practice — because counterfeit avoidance and obsolescence management are shared problems, and the reporting networks only work when everyone contributes.

Risk & reporting networks

Where suspect parts and problem suppliers get reported.

ERAI

ERAI is a resource for risk-assessment information and insight, enabling us to analyse and mitigate risk on vendors, customers, and parts. Every open-market supplier is screened against ERAI reporting before first transaction and re-checked on an ongoing basis; suspect product we encounter is reported back.

GIDEP — Government-Industry Data Exchange Program

A cooperative program between government and industry members that reduces wasted resources by sharing technical information and non-conforming item data. We monitor GIDEP alerts for problem parts, obsolescence notices, and counterfeit reports affecting the commodities we trade.

Obsolescence management bodies

Advancing the practice of obsolescence management.

Component Obsolescence Group (COG)

COG brings together professional industry members concerned with obsolescence management. It encourages a proactive approach to managing obsolescence and the development of processes for dealing with it — the same approach that underpins our own obsolescence management practice.

International Institute of Obsolescence Management (IIOM)

A not-for-profit organisation that exists to advance the science and practice of obsolescence management. IIOM guidance shapes how we quantify exposure, map alternates, and plan last-time buys for long-lifecycle programs.

Standards committees

The documents that define our inspection scope.

Our counterfeit-avoidance procedures are written to the SAE G-19 committee's standards — AS6081 for distributor practice and AS6171 for test methods — and are updated as those documents are revised.

Alongside the formal affiliations, our quality and commodity teams take part in the industry forums where distributors, OEMs, and test laboratories exchange information on supply chain security, inspection technology, and emerging counterfeit techniques.

What it means for you

Affiliations that change what we do, not just what we say.

Supplier onboarding includes ERAI and GIDEP screening as a mandatory gate, not an optional check

Alerts on parts in your BOM are relayed to you with an analyst's assessment of the impact

Suspect product we discover is quarantined and reported so the wider market benefits

Obsolescence planning follows recognised COG and IIOM practice, so it stands up to audit
